Klinta Trädgård

Our property is situated in the middle of Skåne, in the south of Sweden. The surrounding landscape is agricultural, with some of the most fertile soils in Sweden. The site is close to a lake and years back, the lake reached up to this site, which means we live on a former beach with sandy soil on one side of the property and a sandy clay soil in the other part.

Our garden is 10 000 m2, divided by a large green house. We have divided the garden into two parts; Julia’s part of the garden and Peter’s part of the garden. Peter is on the most sandy, sunny and windy part of the garden and Julia is in the more clay based and shady part of the garden. We both got what we wanted!

Our nursery and the kitchen garden are on a separate 5 000 m2 at the other end of the property. Before we took over this place in 2015, it had been run as a garden café with a nursery and a small vegetable farm, called Klinta Kryddor & Grönt.
