Klinta trådgaard AB is based in the middle of Scania in southernmost Sweden. We are four people who work here; Julia Andersson and Peter Korn (owners) and Jonathan Bloch and Emelie Lind (employees).
Klinta Trädgård was started by Julia and Peter when we took over the site from the former nursery, cafe and shop Klinta Kryddor & Grönt, autumn 2015.
Julia has a degree in Landscape Planning, Peter is a self-taught plant expert. Both have solid knowledge and experience in the fields of horticulture and garden design.
In our daily work at Klinta Trädgård AB, we design outdoor environments, consult and establish perennial plantings in public and private environments. We teach at the Swedish University of Agriculture, SLU, in Alnarp. We also have a nursery where we grow plants for our projects, mainly perennials.
Our goal is to create a garden at Klinta, inspired by, among other things, one of our common favorite gardens, Great Dixter in England. To create many rooms and environments and fill them with perennials in abundance. It will take a few years and in the meantime we will keep the garden to ourselves. After that, we will open our garden sometimes, for those of you who are specially interested.
We have a vision to make Klinta a meeting place for people in the horticultural field; landscape architects, nurserymen, ecologists and other people with great knowledge in their respective fields. With our shared knowledge, we can gain insight into the interaction between people, nature, garden and landscape. With the goal of helping to create sustainable and beautiful environments, public and private. As part of this, we arrange seminars, courses and conferences, so that people get a chance to meet, exchange knowledge and to enable the emergence of new networks.
